May message and update...
Dear Parents of Heartland Soccer Club participants:
We had a great first week of soccer - despite the very cold temps! We have over 200 players signed up for all of our different programs. The u-10's have their first games May 30th and the World Cup stats June 11th in North America this summer, and interest will peak with all games being televised.
We will once a gain have Recreational Programs in Walker (Thursdays) and in Park Rapids (Tuesday and Thursday). Registration is OPEN for these programs now.
All of our Traveling Teams are single sex teams now. This year we hope to field the following teams with the following coaches and primary practice locations:

With this number of players playing, we need Coaches and Volunteers. Coaches at the Rec level can be “parent helpers” directing soccer activities and we will train you. Travel coaches will work with coaching director Simon Whitehead to develop effective training sessions for skills and tactical development. Volunteers are need in traveling soccer to supervise open soccer, line fields, man the concessions, help tidy up the fields etc.
The time to register is NOW, so we can plan for a successful upcoming season. Thanks and lets play soccer!
